• Buzz cut. If you’re in search of something low-maintenance, try a buzz cut. Buzz cuts cut all the hair on your head so it’s the same length. It uses a razor with various length guards. The lower the guard, the shorter the cut, with #1 being the shortest.
• Crew cut. Crew cuts make hair two different lengths. The hair is longer on top and shorter on the sides. A razor is used on the sides.
• Pompadour.  This old-school hairstyle is still a favorite among stylish teen boys and men. The hair is left long on top so it can be slicked back with gel. The sides can be left long or cut.
• Taper fade. The hair starts out longest on top and gets close to the skin as it goes down. The hair looks like it fades from top to bottom. This haircut uses clippers of different lengths.
