Mokena Salon Makes Men and Boys Feel Right at Home

Salons are typically thought of as catering to female clients and barbers to male clients. But that notion has been busted with our HoneyCuts mission and goals that first started back in 2003. Our founders felt that there was a hole in the industry that needed to be filled. They wanted to give men, boys and teens the opportunity to feel at home in a garage-themed salon that will cater to them and their hair needs without the fluff of women’s magazines and sweet-smelling shampoos and hair sprays. HoneyCuts provides the masculine vibe that men seek while offering the pampered treatment and quality cuts that they want to feel their best every day. 

Mokena Salon Has the Haircuts for Men and Boys

We hope you notice as soon as you walk in that we are not any ordinary salon! Our decor is reminiscent of the garages and man caves that the male segment of the population enjoys hanging out in. Our stations all have their very own TVs, so that you can watch what you want to help you relax as our stylists cut your hair, mustache or beard. As we only work with men’s hair, we understand the current and traditional styles and cuts and know how to bring them to life. We will also wash your hair before you leave after your cut, so that you do not get an itchy neck from the stray hairs all day. As we wash your hair, we also will do a scalp massage to leave you truly relaxed.

Our youngest clients will appreciate our tractor station that is the best seat in the house. It is a real John Deere tractor to help calm the fears of little boys who may not be embracing the haircut part of life just yet. They also have their own TVs to watch their favorite cartoon as another way to help them relax and remain calm.

Our locations are ready to welcome you throughout the week except on Sundays. Our founders from Day One that Sunday should be a day of rest and relaxation for not only our stylists, but also our clients. If you have a certain stylist that you like to see, check on her hours to schedule a time to visit for your haircut. Our team of stylists works to embody our “I am HoneyCuts’ motto by providing a clean and comfortable environment for you to receive your haircut. Our team remains positive and projects an attitude of service as we are committed to providing the absolute best cuts and service to our clients each and every time.
