Since 2003, Honeycuts has provided Illinois and Northwest Indiana with the amazing haircuts that have made us the region’s #1 barbershop. We’ve learned a lot since we started, and we’ve made some changes to our layout and personnel over the years. However, a few things will always remain. Though the styles come and go, we will always offer excellent, affordable men’s haircuts in a comfortable and friendly setting. With that in mind, you can expect the sort of small-town business that keeps our customers coming back to our Lockport barber shop whenever they need a trim: you can request your favorite stylist online, but we don’t take appointments. While there are plenty of hair salons for women wherever you go — offering a huge range of beauty products and services — the same cannot be said for men’s haircuts. The truth is, most men don’t care for intensive hair care: an uncomplicated shampoo and scalp massage might feel great at the end of the cut, but there’s no need for curlers, extensive product or dying. Understanding the wants and needs of our male clients helped us create the Lockport barber shop that everyone knows and loves.

The Honeycuts Experience

When you walk through the doors of our Lockport barber shop, you’ll notice a couple of things immediately. First, you’ll see that our place doesn’t look like any other salon or barbershop you’ve ever been in. We’re more open and rugged here — you’ll feel like you wandered into a garage or familiar workspace, rather than a salon or barbershop. This casual atmosphere appeals to many of our customers, helping them feel right at home among the brick walls and wood furnishings. At each station, our clients are welcomed by their own TV set, allowing them to watch sports or put on cartoons for their children. That way, you can relax and enjoy the game, or distract yourself if haircuts make you nervous (hey, it happens). With all that said, our stylists love hearing about you and your life, and you may find yourself a fast friend by the time they’ve washed the shampoo out of your hair. And while we all know that kids don’t like to sit still, we’ve found that it tends to help when they’re sitting on our genuine John Deere tractor during the cut. As you can see, there’s nothing quite like our shop!
