•  Buzz cut. Buzz cuts are common among young boys. This style cuts all your hair to the same length. You can choose from various guards so you can opt for a shorter or longer cut. You can go for a longer cut by choosing a #3 or #4 guard, or go for the #1 guard (shortest).
• Crew cut. A crew cut is longer on top and shorter on the sides. It’s like a buzz cut of two different lengths. The hair stylist uses scissors on the top and a razor on the sides.
• Pompadour.  This throwback hairstyle looks good on older boys. The longer hair on top can be slicked back with gel. You can keep the sides the same length or shorten them.
